All profiles on Matchmaker.lk are user-submitted. While our team manually reviews each profile before it goes live, we cannot independently verify the accuracy of every detail provided by users. Matchmaker.lk makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The identity, background, character, or intentions of any user
• The availability or continuity of the platform
• The suitability of any match facilitated through the platform

2. Use at Your Own Risk

You use Matchmaker.lk entirely at your own risk. Matchmaker.lk is not responsible for any actions taken or decisions made based on information found on this site. We strongly advise all users to:

• Exercise caution and good judgment when communicating with potential matches online
• Never share sensitive personal information (home address, financial details, national ID number) with people you have not met and verified in person
• Use our site's built-in messaging system for initial contact rather than sharing direct contact details immediately
• Only share your phone number or WhatsApp when you feel genuinely comfortable and safe to do so
• Report any suspicious, inappropriate, or fraudulent profiles immediately

• Any harm, loss, fraud, or damage arising from interactions between users on or off the platform
• Any actions taken by users based on profile information displayed on the site
• Any interruption, downtime, or loss of data

4. Not a Matchmaking Agency

Matchmaker.lk is a self-service, free matrimony listing platform and is not a registered matchmaking agency or marriage bureau. We do not provide personal matchmaking services, consultations, or guarantees of any kind. We do not screen, investigate, or personally endorse any user or profile on the platform.

5. Third-Party Links

Matchmaker.lk may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites.

6. Profile Photos

Profile photos are uploaded by users. Matchmaker.lk does not verify that profile photos are genuine representations of the account holder. If you suspect a profile photo is fraudulent or misused, please report it to us immediately.

7. Safety Advice for Sri Lankan Matrimony

Meeting someone new through a matrimony site is an exciting step. To stay safe:

• Video call and verify a person's identity before agreeing to meet in person
• Meet for the first time in a public place with a family member or trusted friend present
• Inform family members about your interactions and meetings
• Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, stop communication and report the profile
