About Mindu Nehan Jayaratne

29-year-old entrepreneur based in Gampaha. I am a in honesty and true love, I am deeply religious and dedicate much of my free time to spiritual practices at the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery in Gampaha. On every Poya day, I observe sil and actively engage in religious activities, which play a vital role in shaping my character, discipline, and mindset. I am a sober individual who lives according to the Buddhist precepts and abstains from alcohol, maintaining a lifestyle rooted in mindfulness and self-control. I was born into a Roman Catholic family, but later embraced Buddhism. Today, my entire family follows Buddhism, and I am grateful for the shared spiritual understanding and harmony within our home. I completed my education at St. Peter’s College, which provided a strong foundation for both my personal growth and professional journey. Currently, I am the Founder, Graphic Designer, and Managing Director of my own business—a printing and bookshop established in January 2023. Through this venture, I manage daily operations, produce creative design work, and focus on building a stable and growing enterprise with a long-term vision. I come from a supportive and loving family. My younger brother is pursuing a degree in Software Engineering at university, and I am truly grateful that both of my parents are alive and continue to guide and support us.
